Known for his trademark Scottish garb and hat feather, Cromeans says he has a “fetish” for pieces (especially hats) by Philip Treacy (who also designed for the late Alexander McQueen) and Japanese design. Whether it’s earrings, jackets, vests…etc. Cromeans’ likes to pick up different one-of-a-kind pieces during his travels. According to Cromeans he sometimes visits Lorenzos in L.A, he shops “a lot” in London, and “not so much” in New York (because it’s “too conservative”).
“Nobody has ever shown up looking like me at a party, that’s for sure,” chuckles Cromeans in the episode. He also mentioned that he never turns “on” or “off” his style—he’s pretty much the same guy all the time. “It’s not stage persona,” he says. “I come to work looking like this, and I think the clients get a treat.” Cromeans also thinks that hair stylists should indulge in dressing up, getting their hair done and feeling like they are on stage everyday.
