Handbag Hunting : The Bucket Bag

Posted By Hayden Lyttle on July 12, 2011

I’m not sure I’d call it a classic just yet but the Bucket Bag does tend return to the fashion must-have list often enough that in due time, it will be considered a classic.

I believe it all started with the Louis Vuitton “Noe” bag, originally created in 1932 to carry bottles of champagne {how chic, right?}, which became a staple in many wardrobes in the 80′s and 90′s. In 2009, we briefly saw the drawstring pop it’s cute little head out on runways and magazines but this Spring we’re seeing an even bigger number of designers creating their version of it.

Spring Specs: Go Ahead, Call Me Four Eyes, I Love My Glasses!

Posted By Hayden Lyttle on July 11, 2011

Way back in fourth grade (no, I’m not going to do the math for you, but you can safely assume it was back in the late ’80s, early ’90s days of fashion), I got my first pair of eyeglasses. Now, I didn’t really need them, but I was a huge bookworm and constantly reading, often with the book just inches from my nose (you know, in true nerdy style), and, more importantly, I already had a real thing for accessories. I might have even exaggerated some of my answers at the eye doctor in order to guarantee I left there with a spiffy set of frames.

Pulp Fashion Friday – Monster Bikinis

Posted By Hayden Lyttle on July 10, 2011

  • Fall fashions may be slowly taking over in stores, but summer isn’t over yet! If you’re looking for a truly unique swimsuit, these Monster Bikinis should work. Featuring the faces of some pretty sloppy creatures, they may not be cute, but they will certainly attract some attention. Just beware of random beachgoers staring into your eyes…

    A Shoot for Love Workshop~

Posted By Kai Quinlivan on July 10, 2011

A couple weekends ago we did a little Shoot For Love workshop just outside a little town in Utah called Park City.  It was a great time, lots of fun, a couple more blog posts about it are to come but they will live on .

At the workshop I took some photos, the attendees got to watch.  It was fun.  It got cold at times, especially for one of the models.

Thank you to Heather, Shay and especially thank you to Samantha.   For obvious reasons!

Assisted by: Steven Wood, Tiffany Sanchez, Stuart Hackworth, Lindsey LaJeunesse, Dave Brewer and of course Mr. Wood
