Watching the handsewers at Alden sew the apron of a shell cordovan split toe is a thing of beauty. There are no holes to follow and the front seam has to align perfectly with the moc seam.
Its all done freestyle and once seen you have a new appreciation for the craft and skill that goes into a pair of Norwegian Split Toes.
